At Trouva, we try to do our best to offer a hassle-free shopping experience, even for cross-border shipments. Since the vast majority of our shipments take place within EU and UK, we have the following policy:
Between the UK and the EU
Orders sent between the UK and EU may incur additional taxes and courier fees. If applicable to your order, we will calculate these for you and add them at checkout. There will be no need to pay any additional fees on receipt, once you've paid for your order.
Between the UK or the EU and the Rest of the World
Orders sent from the UK or EU to the rest of the world may incur local duties and taxes to be paid upon delivery. Sadly, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Therefore, you will need to pay these in cash upon receipt of your order, or online though our couriers' notification. At times, these can be paid for electronically from the UPS tracking page for your order.
Please contact your local customs office if you need further information before placing your order. If you refuse to pay the charges due on the parcel, it will be abandoned by your country's customs authority, and you will not be refunded. If there are any outstanding charges (including, but not limited to: holding fees, entrance fees, abandonment fees) these may also be billed to your payment method also.
💡 Tip: For more information about customs, you can have a look at UPS customs information and our T&Cs.
